What to Eat in Order to Optimize Your Brain Health

Our eating habits today are very different than the eating habit of our ancestry. Therefore, it is important to change your eating habits so you can boost the health of your brain.

The brains of humans weigh roughly three pounds. The brains of humans are in charge of our behaviors: sleeping, eating, feeling and thinking. Maintaining a healthy brain is crucial since it is the part of the body that controls emotions and your personality. The human brain is fragile and is often the victim of neurotoxins and poor nutrition, which can lead to damaging your brain. Keep in mind that the human brain is unable to repair itself, which is not the case for other organs of the body. You can learn more by clicking here: procera

Brain health is affected by the food we eat, and since we do not eat the same food as our ancestors, it is important to change our diets. Today's healthy eating might differ from what was considered healthy back in the day. Brain activity can be severely affected by the foods we eat, foods that often put foreign chemicals in our pumping blood along with unnatural hormones, which both lead to impairments. So, when grocery shopping, it is best to make your food decisions based on whether or not the food contains brain-damaging neurotoxins instead of basing your decisions on convenience and price.

Our ancestors used to get their protein from dairy products and meat. It's not a good idea to do that today. 80% of pollutants found in food, especially meat and dairy products, are due to the advancements in farming technology, and these pollutants have the capacity to harm the brain.

Not only are we talking about neurotoxins, but also red meat, which is packed full of iron. Too much iron leads to brain damage. Women lose excess iron by menstrual bleeding and men can only los it by donating blood, meaning woman are at less risk for brain damage caused by too much iron. By accumulating too much iron in the brain, one could lose brain cells, which is the root of brain disease.

Natural food was eaten by our ancestors. Baking soda is one example. It damages the brain due to all of the toxic aluminum it contains. Bad brain health can also be caused by other neurotoxic metals found in food such as lead and mercury. While our ancestors ate fish that was fresh, we are eating fish raised on a farm and are full of many of the above neurotoxins.

Today's food is simply not as healthy as food consumed in the olden days. So reevaluate your diet. Remember, the food you eat directly affects the health of your brain.
